Water Hyacinth Lattice Pendant Lamp Shade (Medium) is a woven lamp shade only — wiring, socket, and bulb are not included. It shares the open diamond-lattice weave and handle detail of our Wide lattice shade, built instead into a rounder, fuller body rather than a wide oval.
The shape difference changes how it functions, not just how it looks. Where the Wide version is flatter and spreads light sideways across a table, this Medium version is rounder and more enclosed, so more of the lattice pattern wraps around the light source — you get a fuller, more even spread of the dappled shadow effect rather than a directional throw.
Same weave technique, same handle-loop detail at the top, same open diamond gaps that let light scatter rather than glow evenly — just built on a rounder frame at a mid-size scale that sits between our smaller and larger lattice pieces.
Water hyacinth for this piece comes from the same source as the rest of our range: rivers and lakes around Klaten and Yogyakarta in Central Java, harvested because it grows fast enough to choke waterways if it isn’t cleared.
